SALON SAFE FOUNDATIONS
When Lisa began applying lashes in her salon, she discovered the lacked consistency in the formulation of lash products, primarily lash adhesive and various application products. More importantly, there lacked any regulations in the Australian market.
Lisa was being targeted by large lash manufacturers from Asia, to buy unlabeled products from companies that had little or no regard for what was actually contained in them, stick on her own label and start selling them in the Australian market. At that time, Australia’s relaxed approach to labelling meant that products were being bought and sold without any proper understanding of the raw materials or manufacturing process.
It’s still a lucrative market, with cheap industrial-strength glues, the same as the ones you will find in your garden shed, being imported and sold as lash adhesive, at a high cost to lash technicians. Australian and global lash companies overlook manufacturing processes and mandatory testing on animals in favour of huge profits. Lash technicians who have been lured into a market may have little understanding of what they are actually buying & selling. After months of research, testing and development, utilising her Diploma in business & Product Development, Lisa made it her mission to introduce a safe range of medical-grade products, made in Europe. She has created her own standard to which others are now following her lead by introducing products from Germany.

Our Mission
Our mission is to provide the highest quality, premium, medical-grade adhesives and lash products to qualified lash and brow technicians. By voluntarily adhering to the high manufacturing standards set in place by Europe and the UK, we are supplying adhesives made from premium raw materials, manufactured to protect the health of the consumer and the environment. We do not test on animals or use products from Asia that have mandatory testing on animals or use real mink eyelash or eyebrow extensions
Clients were complaining of stinging and itching during the application process and burning upon removal and over time, her consistent daily effort in building her business was negatively impacted by poor quality products. Lisa had low infill bookings and witnessed the health of client natural lashes compromised by industrial-strength adhesives disguised as lash glues.
She soon discovered that while some of these products may be less expensive to purchase, you couldn’t build a profitable long term lash business using cheap Asian imports. Armed with lash product development knowledge, eyelash extension application innovation, sales, advertising and marketing experience, Lisa created Lash Masterclasses that promote lash tech/client health, the latest lash innovation plus a business model for any individual to walk into and work from a salon or home and start building long term success.

1,700 reasons you’ll be more comfortable with our safeguard on quality
Many brands market and sell their products as an eyelash Adhesive or Glue, providing supportive MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) documents for predominately Ethyl 2-Cyanoacrylate, stating the appropriate use designed for. These adhesives or glues may also contain medium to high percentage levels of Hydroquinone, a non-safe stabilizer, which until recently did not need to be visible on an MSDS. In lab testing, well-known adhesives in the Australian market have been shown to contain over 1,700 ppm of Hydroquinone that forms highly toxic free radicals, used in industrial manufacturing.
Hydroquinone is banned in many countries. Anything over 1000 ppm must be stated on the MSDS, which means these adhesives are technically illegal.
EU Regulatory Classification 1 according to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 (usually low odour refined adhesives) are classified as a substance or Article and are proven safe within the manufacturing practises, meeting and conforming to all EU REACH AND ROHS standards and purpose-designed for. A minuscule percentage of Hydroquinone may become present during production but will become dispersed before the final stage.
Cosmetic Adhesive classification is assessed according to the actual European Cosmetic Directive 1223/2009 these are Hydroquinone Free. They are super sensitive, low to odour free and are safe for skin and hair.
Many Adhesives currently used do not conform and meet with all EU regulations. Raw ingredients used in many adhesive/glues may be secondary, imperfect or out of date, and will require aggressive cheap stabilizers, such as Hydroquinone, which are unsuitable for human contact. These formulas combined with other additives will enhance the bonding time providing a strong hold to the natural eyelash or eyebrow hair. This will prevent the natural shedding process of the eyelash or eyebrow, resulting in damaged or loss of the hair type.
Good education, compatible lash and-brow extensions paired with Safe adhesives will provide the artist and client with safe comfortable wear and longer rentention.
